6m: Season Wrap-Up (2026)

I was able to work two new DXCC this year; EK/RX3DPK (Armenia with his 2 el yagi, and 100w), and EW6FL (Belarus).  It was more a good season for fairly rare grids here.  The season start was slow and remained 'off' the 'norm' a bit.  Though there was a lot of action towards 9K2, A7, A6, HZ this year (more than in recent years by a lot).  Also a lot of new expansion into Russian stations.

Of course I still missed EX, UK7/9, and EZ.  Copied them quite well many days, but they didn't respond to my calls.  (more for later I guess)

I worked/confirmed 17 new FFMA grids, and 68 DX VUCC grids for a total of 85 new grids CONFIRMED and still have about 30 outstanding unconfirmed, mostly awaiting QSLs.

With my new DXCC's this Es season, that brings my total to 196 confirmed.

I also just sent 5 more QSL cards in, and received a few more in the mail since.

1307 + 5 =1312 + 2 = 1314

Some of these are older than this year, because there was about 60 that I'd worked and they don't use LoTW.  SO I've been slowly sending cards for those.  Unfortunately several are also now SK I'm sad to say.  RIP friends.
