I didn't work any new DXCCs this year until late August via EME H40GJ for #190 (currently this is the only DXCC I've worked via EME not also worked Terrestrial). I did manage to work a few new grids thankfully. This season was one of the strangest I've seen in over 25 years. Very few openings to real DX throughout June. July was almost like June should have been. August had some decent openings for longer than typical here.
FFMA: 415 - 407 = 8 new (including DM56 QSL)
VUCC: 1222 - 1188 = 34 new (plus H40GJ not yet confirmed = 35 new
(I also finally submitted for VUCC award @ 1200 count level LOL)

Finally worked KB6UWK (DM02) for FFMA - probably one of the most rare FFMA grids
8m was almost non-existent. NOTHING at all like the past few years of constant monitoring. I would estimate less than 10 openings the entire 6m Es season.

Although there was some decent DX most it I didn't manage to work. There was an odd condition that occurred where I copied a LOT of DX, that wasn't copying me.
This same experience was true for many others in W1-3 land. June was abnormally vacant of workable DX.
